Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
Welcome to Quick QR Generator (“we”, “us”, “the service”). By accessing or using this website and the QR code generator it provides, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
Quick QR Generator is a free, browser-based QR code generator. It creates static QR codes from content you provide — such as URLs, text, WiFi credentials, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS details and vCard contact information. The tool runs entirely in your browser; we do not receive, store or process the content you encode.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Create QR codes that link to or distribute illegal, harmful or fraudulent content;
- Encode content that violates the rights of others, including intellectual property;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or damage the service or its hosting infrastructure;
- Misrepresent your affiliation with us or imply that we endorse content you create.
You are solely responsible for the content you encode and how you use the QR codes you generate.
3. License to use the service
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service for personal or commercial purposes. The software libraries used to generate QR codes (such as the qr-code-styling library and the underlying QR code format) are subject to their own open-source licenses. The QR code format itself is royalty-free.
4. Your QR codes
QR codes you generate are created on your device and downloaded by you. They are static: the content is permanently encoded at the moment of generation and cannot be edited later. We recommend testing every code with a real phone camera before printing, and keeping a quiet zone and sufficient contrast so codes scan reliably.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While we work hard to keep the generator fast and reliable, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every QR code will scan in every environment.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service — including QR codes that fail to scan, print incorrectly, or are used in physical media. Your sole remedy is to stop using the service.
7. Third-party services
The service may link to third-party websites or recommend third-party services (for example, dynamic QR code providers). We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or practices of those third parties.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
