Why we built a better QR code generator
Quick QR Generator started with a simple frustration: creating a QR code should take seconds, not a sign-up form, a sales funnel and a watermark. We set out to build the tool we wanted to use.
Our story
QR codes are everywhere — on menus, business cards, packaging, posters and product labels — and the technology behind them is simple, robust and free. Yet most of the websites that generate them are anything but simple. They ask you to create an account, watermarks your downloads, caps your scans, or makes you pay just to change a color.
We believe a QR code generator should be as uncomplicated as the codes themselves. So we built one: a focused, static-first tool that renders codes locally in your browser, lets you customize colors, add a logo and download print-ready PNG or SVG files — all free, all private, all without an account.
What we stand for

Privacy by default
QR generation runs in your browser. Your WiFi passwords and contact details never touch a server, so there is nothing to leak, sell or lose.

Static-first honesty
We make static QR codes — and we say so clearly. We do not push subscriptions or nudge you toward dynamic codes you do not need.

Free means free
No sign-up, no watermark, no scan limits, no paywall on the features that matter. The tool stays free, and commercial use of your codes is always allowed.

Quality over clutter
Most QR tools bury you in ads and upsells. We keep one focused job — generating great QR codes — and do it fast on any device.
What we do — and what we deliberately don’t
We specialize in static QR codes: permanent, free, self-contained codes for URLs, text, email, phone, SMS, WiFi and vCards. If you need dynamic, editable or trackable codes, we will tell you so honestly and point you to services that do that well.
We do not sell user data, we do not run tracking scripts, and we do not add hidden costs. Our optional analytics integration is off by default and only activates if the site owner enables it with a measurement ID.
Quick QR Generator is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Denso Wave (the inventor of the QR code), nor with any third-party QR platform. QR codes are royalty-free to create and use.
