Privacy Policy

Short version
We designed Quick QR Generator so that we do not need your data. QR codes are generated entirely in your browser. We have no accounts, no user database and no backend that processes your QR content. This policy explains the few situations in which information is handled, and what you can expect.
1. What we collect
In normal use, we collect no personal information from you. Specifically:
- QR code content — URLs, text, WiFi credentials, contact details and messages you enter are processed locally on your device and are never sent to our servers.
- Accounts — there are none. We do not offer sign-ups and do not ask for your name, email address or any identifier.
- Cookies — we set no tracking cookies. A single local-storage value is used only to remember your light/dark theme preference, and stays on your device.
2. Analytics
This site is tracking-free by default. If the site owner later enables Google Analytics 4 by setting a measurement ID, a privacy-respecting configuration may be used, including IP anonymization. In that case, Google Analytics collects aggregated, pseudonymous usage statistics (such as pages visited and device type) under Google’s privacy policy. You can prevent analytics collection with browser privacy tools or ad blockers. This section will be updated if analytics is ever enabled.
3. Hosting and logs
The site is served by a static hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages). Like virtually every web service, the hosting provider may process standard server logs — IP address, browser type and requested pages — for security, performance and abuse prevention. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine them with any other data.
4. Where your data goes
Because QR content never leaves your device, there is nothing to transfer, store or share with third parties. We do not sell, rent or trade any information. We have no advertising network and no data brokers — and we will not add any without updating this policy first.
5. Third-party links
Our pages may link to external websites (for example, Google’s privacy policy or services that offer dynamic QR codes). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
6. Children’s privacy
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we collect no personal information at all, there is nothing to delete — but if you have concerns, contact us and we will help.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA regions), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to opt out of “sales” or “sharing”. Since we hold no personal data about you, these rights are effectively already satisfied — but if you believe otherwise, contact us and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be called out prominently.
